Our History

Live Thankfully began with a mission trip to Kenya, where founder Kimberly Cook saw the impact of serving vulnerable communities. After returning home and learning about homeless youth in Little Rock, she was inspired to make a difference locally. Encouraged by her children, Kimberly organized a garage sale that raised $3,000. Building on that success, Live Thankfully opened in April 2017.

Today, Live Thankfully is a staple in the community and one of the leading resale shops in Little Rock. Live Thankfully has served over 30,000 customers and has donated over $325,250 to supporting women, children and youth in crisis.

Live Thankfully’s main partner is Immerse Arkansas. To learn more about how Immerse is providing healing for youth from crisis in our community, click here.

Our director Kimberly is delighted to share the Live Thankfully mission with civic groups, clubs, or Bible study groups! If you would like to request this, please click here.
